photo by Curious Josh What an April we have had! We packed our bags, fluffed our wigs and gathered our props for the low desert of Indio, California at Coachella Arts and Music Festival! For the 5th consecutive year we have succeeded in rocking the socks off of the massive crowd, blasting them with music, fire and water in our newest stage show, Android Lover. We did all of this surrounded by the beautiful architecture of The Do LaB area, the biggest one for them yet! It was a weekend to go down in the record books! Thank you Coachella and thank you to all the cast, The Do LaB and the 100's of crew and volunteers it took to make this show, stage and weekend happen!! After Coachella we headed back to Los Angeles and sent three of our members to be transformed into Avatar Na'vi for a special Earth Day event with James Cameron. We rocked the green carpet in Lucent's own custom made Na'vi costumes and makeup with the likes of Cameron and his wife, actress Suzy Amis, Avatar's Michelle Rodriguez, Hayden Panettiere from 'Heroes' and Adrian Grenier from 'Entourage' just to name a few. Then we REPACKED our bags, re-fluffed our wigs and re-gathered our props for the high desert of Victorville, California for the 420 Festival. We had a super fun time bringing our madness and wonder to a different kind of festival goer.
